PROJECT UPDATES
We have reviewed and approved 3 new projects this quarter to expand the small businesses operating in the Congo!
- The first project approved is to help startup a new Pharmacy business. Led by 2 certified pharmacists, this business will offer over-the-counter medicine to the community.
- We will be purchasing about 3 hectares of land, which will primarily be used for farming. The crops will then be sold at a local market.
- In order to optimize the location for the SalonProject, the salon will be relocating to a spot that is more accessible for the women in Lubumbashi. This new location will allow for an easier commute for our students as well as increase customer foot traffic for the business.
