Celebrate Africa Event
Saidiana hosted an event on October 22nd to celebrate Africa, where we shared stories, culture, and cuisine with ~50 guests. Our very own Georgette cooked many traditional dishes for our guests. The silent auction of art, jewelry, and textiles was also a success. Thank you to all who came and supported along with the Carter foundation who matched funds. We are already planning next year’s event and look forward to seeing everyone there!
GIVE TO THE MAX ON THURSDAY, NOV 17
Give to the Max Day 2022 is Thursday, November 14. Your generous donations will be fully contributed toward grants for women in Lubumbashi to create businesses that sustain themselves and their families. Our most recent projects include funding a chicken egg incubator and a follow-on grant for the catering project.
Your donation will go twice as far this year as the Carter
Family Foundation has graciously offered to match every donation for Give to the Max Day up to $10,000.
As always, we would not be able to fund these projects and support the entrepreneurial ventures of the Congolese women without your support. Thank you!
