SAIDIANA ORG UPDATES IN LUBUMBASHI
Saidiana is now registered as an NGO recognized by the Congolese government! We recently completed this certification process in Kinshasa to comply with Congolese regulations.
The renovations for the new Saidiana office in Lubumbashi are complete. We equipped the office with a new computer, plenty of seating, and storage. This will help maximize efficiency of our operations in the Congo and provide a meeting place for our Congo-based board.
PIG BREEDING UPDATE
The pig sty construction that was funded this year is now complete, and there are four new pigs being raised there. The construction added 4 structured rooms and finished the roofing to provide more shade and protection.
Our latest Sewing School class welcomes a group of extraordinary women, each carrying a story of struggle and perseverance in the face of poverty and extreme adversity living on the streets. They are eager to learn, grow, and create a sustainable future for themselves and their families.
